About Us

At Vega Solar Energy Pvt Ltd,state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities with cutting-edge technology and imported equipment facilitate anin-house reliability testing capability for solar modules to ensure high quality standards.
Vega Solar Energy Pvt Ltd manufacturing plant operates under proper implementation of procedure-documented production process and work instructions as per ISO 9001: 2008 by TUV NORD.
We ensured our process surpassed the world class manufacturing facilities by implementing the pre-requisites like:

  • Propervisibility through suitable lighting arrangements for key production process.
  • Easy access of manufacturing product’s specifications to all employees.
  • Availability of process flow charts and work instructions for manufacturing process.
  • The pre-designed string drawings and moulds for general production and customised designs as per requirements.
  • In-process job record tracking of each and every module in the process of manufacturing.
  • Implementation of pre and post delivery activities includes quantity and packing inspection,   test report and warranty verification.
  • Good track recordand documentation of service activities of customer complaints.
  • Scheduled training programmes for employees for Machine operations and maintenance.
  • Suitable testing and manufacturing equipments with their basic user instruction displayed.
  • Ready availability of few spares for servicing the manufacturing machineries to make uninterrupted manufacting process in case of machine failures.
  • Display of easy-to-understand instructioncharts, process flow charts, work instructions, testing and packing process at every stage.

A Solar Module undergoes several manufacturing process quality tests. Some of the module assembly steps are:

  • Cell Testing and Sorting: The preliminary step in module manufacturing is testing the individual photovoltaic cells for their electrical parameters of Current and Voltage.
  • Cell Cutting: Controlled laser cutting equipment will serve the purpose of cell cutting for a designed size to achieve desired wattage range of modules.
  • Front Soldering: Connecting the interconnecting copper leads to the cut cells.
  • Stringing: Process of interconnection between thetabbed cell’s leads of solar photovoltaic cells in series by bus ribbon in a pre-designed die.
  • Back Sheet and EVA Cutting:Process of cutting the back sheet and EVA as per the module design.
  • Lay-Up: The laminating materials are laid up in a particular sequence and certain characteristics are measured with electronic equipment.
  • Lamination: The interconnected solar PV cells are laminated with glass along with EVA and back sheet.
  • Curing: Is the process where themodules undergo a curing process.
  • Trimming: Trimming is the process where the excess polymer sheets are trimmed off from the edge with the help of a knife.
  • Framing: The laminates are enclosed in an aluminium frame of desired size with a glass in front by using RTV or foam tape as a sealant/sealing agent. This process is done manually or by an automated machine.
  • JB Fixing:Fixing a junction box and connection cables to rear side of each polycrystalline solar module comes next. This enables easy electrical integration among modules at the installation site.
  • Cleaning: The modules are cleaned using a mild chemical solution.
  • Electrical Testing: It is the process with which all the electrical parameters of the modules are tested in Sun Simulator.
Packing or Palletising: The module undergoes packing or palletision  and is ready for dispatch.
